PokéSurvivor Companion Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026. This policy covers the Companion browser extension. It is an independent fan tool.

What the extension handles

On pokesurvivor.com and survivorpoke.com, Companion reads the running game's state and visible choices to provide advice: owned partners and training, moves, cards, items, Bond choices, coins, upgrades, battle conditions and observed outcomes. It also detects game control interactions to respect manual choices and stop conflicting automatic actions. It does not record the content of keystrokes, chats or login forms.

To keep consent and settings separate, it derives a local opaque identifier from the game's account identifier or username, or creates a guest session identifier. An opaque identifier is pseudonymous; we do not claim it is anonymous. Raw account identifiers and usernames are not copied into Companion's snapshots or settings. Companion does not read passwords, authentication tokens, email addresses or payment details.

Local processing and storage

Game advice is calculated on your device. Browser extension local storage keeps consent, automatic-operation switches, module preferences, budgets, manual locks, display settings and a bounded record of observed gameplay. Session storage coordinates which game tab may act. Existing game state is read as needed; Companion does not copy the game's complete save or browsing history.

The extension does not send this information to its developer, analytics services, advertising services, remote models or other recipients. It includes no tracking, screen recording, upload queue, remote code or developer-operated network service. There is no developer dashboard for reading your gameplay.

Why the data is used

The sole purpose is to provide in-game decision assistance for PokéSurvivor. Reading the game is necessary for advice. Automatic actions remain off until you explicitly agree. Once agreed, your allowed settings may persist for the same game origin and account. Guest consent belongs to the extension's local guest scope on that origin in this browser profile, so starting another guest session can reuse it; a different account or origin does not inherit it. Purchase, reroll, start and restart modules are off by default and have separate limits. You control movement at all times.

You may stop automatic actions from the compact bar or details. Stop revokes pending actions and saves the off setting; it cannot undo an action the game has already accepted.

Retention and your choices

Local preferences and consent remain until changed or the extension is removed. Observed gameplay records are bounded and may be replaced by newer sessions. Browser session coordination is temporary. Data is not encrypted by the extension with an additional application password; access relies on your browser profile and device protections.

Use Stop before disabling the extension if you want it to remain off when re-enabled. To delete Companion's stored information, remove the extension in your browser's extension manager and reinstall if wanted. Removing Companion does not erase the original game's save, reverse purchases, or delete another extension's data.

Original game and external links

The original game has its own accounts, network services and privacy practices, independent of Companion. Permitted native game actions may be saved or synchronized by the game itself. Opening the original game or a help link navigates to that website, where its normal privacy policy applies; Companion does not append gameplay records or account identifiers to these links.

Limited use

Companion uses game information only for the disclosed decision-assistance features. It does not sell or transfer user data, use it for advertising or creditworthiness, or give its developer access to read it. Its use of information received through browser APIs follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
