The October 9 update adds phone/tablet touch controls, English, installable web-app play and automatic graphics quality. Giga Drain becomes Grass Knot and stops healing.
Changes at a glance
- Phones and tablets gain a touch joystick, and the original browser game can be installed as a web app.
- English joins Spanish in the original game. The website’s five guide languages do not add languages inside the embedded game.
- Settings now include automatic graphics quality. Enemy counts decrease but individual enemies become stronger.
- Giga Drain is renamed Grass Knot and loses its healing effect. Do not plan recovery from the old move name.
Play with two fingers on a phone
- Rotate to landscape, touch an empty game area and drag to move: the joystick appears where you touch.
- Keep that finger on movement and tap a bottom move icon with another finger to change the active attack. Use the upper-right pause button to stop a solo run.
- If rendering slows down, open Settings and use automatic graphics quality; then check whether movement and attack warnings remain readable.
Install the original game, not this guide iframe
- iPhone: open pokesurvivor.com in Safari, choose Share → Add to Home Screen, then start the added icon. The October 12 update later improved the fullscreen instructions.
- Android or desktop: open the original game in a supported browser and use its Install app / Add to Home Screen entry when offered. If it is absent, the browser version still works; installation is not a separate native APK.
