PokéSurvivor’s October 10 patch adds four boss warnings, half-health enrage, 12 moves, eight attack behaviors and run events. Read the fight and reward changes before choosing a route.

Changes at a glance

  • Bosses and legendaries gain four telegraphed attacks, can close in or fight at range, and enrage at half HP.
  • Twelve moves and eight behaviors are added: boomerang, chain, mine, meteor, turret, dash, trail and cone/spray. Big Pokémon get statues.
  • Run events add single-type hordes, golden hour and lost Pokémon. Meowth and Gholdengo can flee carrying coins.
  • Fewer but tougher enemies, slower leveling and rarer tickets make runs harder. At this date, a scheduled boss drops a ×10 ticket one time in three; rift rewards are a separate rule.
  • Loading becomes faster. Straggling enemies are removed only off-screen rather than vanishing in front of you, and menus no longer overlap the top bar.
  • The official news also notes Water-type movement at full speed in water and anti-cheat protection for the leaderboard at this date.

Turn the warnings into a survival plan

  • Before a boss, keep an open escape path. When a ground warning appears, leave its marked area before the attack resolves; do not chase damage into the warning.
  • At half HP, expect enrage rather than assuming the second half is easier. Preserve room to move and use the active attack that can hit while you dodge.
  • Treat a treasure thief as a timed opportunity: chase only if you can do it safely. A lost Pokémon is an escort event, not an ordinary enemy to defeat.

Which move behavior fits the fight?

Boomerangs can contact enemies on outward and return travel; chains distribute hits among targets; mines need enemies to enter them; trails reward leaving damaging ground behind you. These behave differently from a direct projectile, so compare reach, repeat hits and placement as well as the damage number.

Game date, page revision and sources

These are the changes announced for 2026-10-10, not a claim that every rule still applies today. Page revision: 2026-10-14. The historical changelog is preserved in a9b21f09; the October 13 Arceus update supersedes the old endgame and leaderboard rules where noted.
