The move must have an evolution, reach level 5 and have its specific run card before you choose the gold evolution offer. Ember needs Power; Bubble needs Sprint; Confusion needs Reflexes. Petal Blizzard needs Synthesis: it is the base orbit move stored under leaf-storm, while Razor Leaf evolves into a different move displayed as Leaf Storm. Permanent upgrades do not satisfy the card requirement.

After meeting both conditions, select the gold evolution card. Purchased permanent Attack/Cooldown upgrades do not satisfy these run-card conditions.

Move level is below 5Select upgrade cards for that exact base move. Do not count a player level or another move’s level. The move itself reaches 5; then inspect its required card.
Level 5, but only permanent Attack/Cooldown purchasedTake the actual named run card from this run’s level-up offers: Power or Reflexes as specified by the recipe.Checker reports the card met; permanent levels alone never substitute it.
Both conditions met, but move still looks normalSelect its gold evolution card when offered. Meeting conditions permits the offer; it does not silently auto-evolve the attack. The displayed attack name changes to the mapped evolution and its evolved parameters apply.
No evolution or already evolvedCheck the recipe list or select the base move in the checker. Some of the 64 base moves have no recipe; an evolved move has no second evolution.Use another legal move/card choice rather than spending for a nonexistent second evolution.
