Shiny generation has three different source rules. Sprite eligibility and collection writes matter: a shiny roll, an encounter and an acquired variant are separate events.
What to do
- Select the correct source in the probability tool.
- Track shiny ownership separately from normal ownership.
Numbers & conditions
Wild eligible check 1/4096; gacha 1/100; rift legend selection 1/512. For independent identical eligible checks use 1−(1−p)^n.
