Guide updated
If your chosen region’s counter is 69, the next draw increments it to 70 and forces 5★, then resets the counter. A ten-pull batch guarantees at least one 4★ or 5★; if the first nine did not qualify, the final special draw uses 81.25% / 18.75%. Pity takes precedence and neither rule guarantees Mewtwo.
Three states to distinguish
Scroll sideways to read every column.
| Rule | Result / next action |
|---|---|
| Pity 69 → 70 | One ticket produces forced 5★ rarity; Kanto base Mewtwo selection remains 1/6 before shiny rerouting. |
| Ten pulls, no early 4★/5★ | Last rarity weights normalize 6.5:1.5 to 81.25%:18.75%, unless pity forces 5★. |
| Ten pulls, earlier 4★/5★ | The last draw uses ordinary rules; every 5★ still resets that region’s pity. |
The named target still depends on collection state
This is base selection before collection-dependent shiny rerouting; use the full calculator with your existing shiny list for the final target model.
Tickets and planning
A batch costs ten ordinary tickets or one ×10 ticket. A five-star drawn before 70 resets its region too, so future guarantees cannot be counted as one fixed roll every 70 draws regardless of outcomes. Use the state model for batches; 1−(1−p)^n only fits constant independent checks, not the changing pity process.
