Original client 5c97df2e: independent Assault Vest reduction, stronger buffs, ranking recovery, mobile controls and wide-screen spawning.

Changes at a glance

  • In original 5c97df2e, permanent Defense (2 percentage points per level, at most 8 levels) and Armor cards (6 points each) share a 70% pool. Assault Vest adds 20 points in a separate equipment pool; temporary defense is added too, then total reduction is capped at 80%. At 12 Armor cards, reduction is 70% without the vest and 80% with it; removing the vest leaves 70%. Active melee then separately multiplies incoming damage by 0.75. Pure damage and rescue checks keep their own rules. No HP regeneration is granted.
  • Weak Armor, Steadfast and Rattled now use the corrected shared buff transition. Let n=min(incoming stack cap, old stacks+1). If old stacks × old amount is strictly greater than n × incoming amount, keep the old stacks/amount and the longer duration. Otherwise replace with n, the incoming amount and incoming duration; equality can shorten the timer. Example: Agility 3×10%, 1 second left, then Weak Armor 1×20% for 3 seconds → keep 3×10% for 3 seconds. Agility 5×10%, 7 seconds left, then Rattled 1×25% for 4 seconds → keep 5×10% for 7 seconds. The tool event sample computes the resulting stacks and multiplier; current DPS still uses the active buffs you entered, not hypothetical future hits.
  • The client requests each player’s run seal up to 8 times, with 3-second retry gaps and at most 15 seconds per request. Requests are bounded by an 80-second client window; a new attempt needs at least 2 seconds remaining. 401/403 stops retries. A qualified run lacking a seal now shows a connection warning, including a team missing any member’s seal. This cannot recover an older unsealed run. In All-time, a higher damage record is saved even when time does not improve and both top-50 lists are missed; the prior better time/level/kills are preserved and pending time uploads retain the higher damage. Friends only also fetches friends and yourself outside the All-time top 50, sorts by positive damage and shows at most 50, cached for 2 hours. Other periods and species tables retain their top-50 scope. The global position badge does not become a friends-only rank. Upload damage caps and minimum run times are unchanged.
  • On room entry the original preloads eligible temporary TURN credentials. After a direct connection fails, the next attempt can use either participant’s TURN, even if the host has none; account eligibility still applies and this does not promise universal connectivity. TURN requests time out after 10 s; retries wait 30 min after 403, 1 min after 429, or 10 s after other failures/invalid data/timeouts. Cached credentials are usable with over 80 min remaining or when received less than 2 min ago. An open data channel with more than 64 KiB queued pauses further periodic sends; events stay queued, with at most 500 host events per frame message. Guests retain outgoing events while busy; leaving still sends goodbye. A slow run can pause at “waiting for host” instead of accumulating minutes of lag. Direct/slow update rates, reliable ordering and reconnection remain in place.
  • Original: Settings → Controls → Place the buttons → Anchored. The movement stick appears at the initial touch and its base stays there until release; touch elsewhere next time to move it. Floating remains default and follows a drag beyond its radius; Fixed uses the configured location. Anchored applies only to movement, not the floating manual-aim stick. Level-up rerolls and the second bond step now share touch-to-click suppression, preventing the synthesized click from selecting a newly drawn card underneath your finger. Mouse and keyboard activation remain available.
  • The far-away reset threshold is now max(1400, spawn outer radius+300) for ordinary enemies and max(2500, spawn outer radius+300) for a lost boss. This prevents endless recycling when a very wide, short window spawns enemies beyond the old fixed threshold. The ordinary off-screen/behind delay remains 2.5 seconds; the lost-boss delay remains 4 seconds. Rift exclusions and existing encounter rules remain. This is a viewport-dependent reset fix, not a new spawn-rate or Pokémon-stat increase.
  • The original starting quiz now translates the personality-trait heading and starter trait list instead of showing Spanish everywhere; trait scoring, starter choices, abilities and natures are unchanged. The original game’s support address is now [email protected]. Use that address for the original game; the Wiki’s own contact remains separate. Assault Vest: 70% card pool, 80% final cap

In original 5c97df2e, permanent Defense (2 percentage points per level, at most 8 levels) and Armor cards (6 points each) share a 70% pool.

Keep the stronger temporary speed boost

Weak Armor, Steadfast and Rattled now use the corrected shared buff transition.

Ranking: longer seal retries and All-time damage

The client requests each player’s run seal up to 8 times, with 3-second retry gaps and at most 15 seconds per request.

Co-op: either player’s TURN and slow-link queues

On room entry the original preloads eligible temporary TURN credentials.

Anchored joystick and deliberate card taps

Original: Settings → Controls → Place the buttons → Anchored.

Very wide windows: enemies can approach

The far-away reset threshold is now max(1400, spawn outer radius+300) for ordinary enemies and max(2500, spawn outer radius+300) for a lost boss.

Quiz language and original-game support

The original starting quiz now translates the personality-trait heading and starter trait list instead of showing Spanish everywhere; trait scoring, starter choices, abilities and natures are unchanged. The original game’s support address is now [email protected]. Use that address for the original game; the Wiki’s own contact remains separate. This update neither sends a message nor changes the embedded Community game.

Which version does this use?

Latest original execution rules: 5c97df2e (October 27); reviewed October 28. Pokémon, move, evolution and legal-learning data remain d567c6da; Halloween stays f7fbcfc4. All 13 tools are retained. New original calculations use the independent equipment pool and corrected buff transition. Previously versioned shares without an execution pin retain d567c6da behavior and display that pin; use Recalculate with current rules to migrate deliberately. Community remains its separate fixed snapshot and keeps its own rules. The iframe remains https://survivorpoke.com/play/. Source tests and projections do not establish that both live games behave identically. Public bytes observed October 28 match embedded build 3667bcad81, declared selective upstream f7fbcfc4. The Community calculator is the fixed 395a0e47 snapshot (build marker 559ca0a7c8), not a reproduction of that current embedded build.
