Current long runs revolve around Arceus at 30:00, not a first endgame change at 60 minutes. Finish rift Bonds before 28:00, enter with a working damage/recovery group and dodge Arceus rather than attacking it. The accumulating legends double HP and damage every new wave; aim for the specific Judgment achievements, not endless ticket farming.

What changes at 28:00 and 30:00

No new rifts open from 28:00. At 30:00 the normal run gives way to the Judgment of Arceus; if you are in a rift or making a card choice, the transition waits for it to finish. Finish useful Bonds and recovery before that point.

Arceus is invincible and attacks do not target it. Contact removes 40% of maximum HP; its warned light attacks ignore types and defense. Move away from Arceus and leave marked light pillars, cross beams and rings rather than trying to defeat it.

A first legendary arrives shortly after the fight starts; more follow every 5 s, each with twice the previous HP and damage. The eighth is ×128 the first. These give XP only: no coins, tickets or items. This is a survival/achievement phase, not a ticket farm or a capturable Arceus encounter.

Prepare a complete group before the cutoff

  • Example: Turtwig starts Vine Whip. Take Power for Power Whip and Synthesis for Petal Blizzard → Petal Dance; learn Swords Dance and Harden as complementary support.
  • Earn and spend three Bonds to place all four moves in one active group; before each victory keep a damaging slot active. Equip Leftovers if found, or another recovery item suited to the damage you actually deal.
  • During Judgment stay away from Arceus and leave light markings. Ordinary defense still helps against reducible legendary attacks, but not Arceus’ defense-bypassing light.

Historical 60-minute overtime, dated October 12

The October 12 snapshot used accelerating scaling after 60 minutes: extra HP factor exp(0.000374×max(0,minutes−60)²), about ×1.40 at 90 min and ×3.84 at 120 min. The October 13 Judgment update removes that overtime mechanism. Preserve old screenshots under that older version; these multipliers are not the current endgame model.
